Affordable seafood resto, especially for their lobster dishes. Food are great! Fresh lobster and sambal tempong are a must try. The lobsters are sweet, we had their fried lobster with galic butter seasoning 9/10. The sambal tempong added so much taste, it's fragant with scent of jeruk limo, not too spicy, just the right amount of spices, 10/10. Tumis kangkung terasi 8/10. Nasi goreng kampung 7/10. Es jeruk 8/10. Oh, the atmosphere is nice, clean modern resto with playground spot (there is a swing), and also outdoor area on the dock. Nice staff.

This is a truly hidden gem in Banyuwangi. Access is somewhat hidden via small local road, but you'll get a nice seaside restaurant with private beach. The ambiance is the best, you will dine next to the beach with stunning view of Bali strait. Service was a bit slow , but it was no issue at all since we were playing on the beach while waiting for our food. We tried 3 menus: Satay (sapi), which initially we thought a bit absurd to be served meat next to the beach, turned out to be fantastic. Satay was tender and tasted delicious. We did not expected this kind of flavour. Their garlic butter fried lobster also super delicious. We had the medium serving, and it was enough to feed our family of four. Lastly, we had their grilled squid with special seasoning, which also really good and tasty. It was a generous portion as well. Too bad when we arrived, other menus such as fish, clams, and crabs were not available. Great food combined with beautiful private beach make this a must to visit in Banyuwangi.

Lovely restaurant at the beach, nice food - boasting the freshness of the lobster that they catch in the in front of the restaurant. We ordered grilled lobster, shrimp, fish soup and some veggies - TBH, we love the shrimp and the fish soup more than the lobster - eventhough they are well seasoned. We feel that the lobster is too prematurely caught to be consumed, due to not only the size but also the texture of the shell.

In a week, we have visited this place twice. The first visit is on a weekday, and the second visit is on a weekend. When we first came here, we ordered the recommended menu at this place. The cooking process took quite a long time, even though at that time we were the only guests in this restaurant. And after the food was ready, we immediately tasted each food we ordered. All the food we ordered was very tasty, the taste was just right, the doneness was just right. We were satisfied with all the food we ordered. The 2nd visit, we re-ordered the food we had previously ordered with the addition of 1 other menu that we had not previously ordered because there was no stock. This time quite a lot of guests came. We thought the food would take longer but our estimates were wrong. The food is ready very quickly. We started enjoying our food. And here we feel the difference in the taste of the food we eat. The cooking spices are less pervasive, the taste is also different. Looks like they cooked it too fast. Please for this restaurant, don't change the spice measurements, cooking time and other things just because lots of guests come. Keep cooking food for the same time and seasonings so that the taste doesn't change quickly. And in my opinion the price of food here is a bit pricey but worth it. For price of drinks is too expensive,

This is my first time having late lunch at Kampung Lobster. I ordered Lobster Garlic Butter, clam Black pepper, Grilled Squid, Fish Soup, and pineapple juices. I can say all of them taste great especially for the lobster. The ingredients are fresh and served neatly Just one thing I miss from this resto is COCONUT :( too bad it didn't have young coconut when it served seafood. Good job for the cook and all waitress.
